Mountain Resorts has partnered with High Country Shipping to help you take the "lug" out of luggage!

Due to increased airline security and weight restrictions it is difficult to get luggage safely to your destination. Travelers are arriving without their ski gear, bikes, etc. This could potentially ruin an otherwise wonderful trip. In addition to lost or delayed luggage there is the inconvenience of dragging gear through airports. Our goal is to eliminate these problems. The vacation traveler can arrange one-way or round trip luggage delivery through High Country Shipping. Following are several options to consider.

OPTION 1: Full service, hassle free shipping with High Country Shipping. We will work with you to make your trip as hassle free as possible. High Country Shipping arranges for the guaranteed shipment of the vacation traveler's luggage to/from home and their destination with Mountain Resorts. We pick up your luggage at your home and monitor it as it arrives to your destination before you. It is then kept safely at our storage facility until the day you arrive. We then deliver the luggage to your check-in location.

Shipping Instructions:

  • Contact High Country Shipping at 877.231.1363, or click here
  • High Country Shipping will confirm the shipment and arrange the pick-up of your luggage. Your credit card will not be charged until your luggage arrives in Steamboat.
  • High Country Shipping will monitor the progress of your luggage and send an email when it arrives in Steamboat.
  • At your request, on the day of your departure, High Country Shipping will arrange for the return shipment of your luggage.

OPTION 2: Arrange Shipping services yourself to be delivered to High Country Shipping's secure storage facility. High Country Shipping will store your luggage and deliver it to your check-in facility on the day of your arrival. High Country Shipping's luggage delivery service is provided seven days a week through its on-site Steamboat luggage concierge.

Storage and delivery fee is $20 per package.
