Fish Creek Falls: Fish Creek Fall is located 3 miles from downtown Steamboat. A spectacular sight during spring run off, a popular attraction throughout the summer, and an ice climbing venue during winter. Lanch virtual tour.

Rich Weiss Park: Located along the river as you enter dowtown Steamboat. It features a natural hot spring, and a statue of Dr. Rich Weiss. Rich Weiss was a Steamboat resident, member of the USA whitewater slalom team, a two-time Olympian, World Silver Medallist and had a Ph.D. He died running the Green Truss section of the White Salmon River in Washington State. M.A.S.S Ensemble Performance: MASS Ensemble (Music Architecture Sonic Sculpture) strung 80-foot harp strings around the inside of the Strings in the Mountains music tent, transforming the tent into an instrument. They played the opening night of the brand new Strings tent on June 25. Three thousand people showed up for this free performance. Lanch virtual tour.

Botanic Gardens: The Botanic Gardens are located along the Yampa River and Core Trail between town and the mountain. Benches, walkways and a grassy knoll are available for picnicking, bird watching or just relaxing. The extensive gardens attract a wide variety of native birds and butterflies. Lanch virtual tour.
